My woodworking skills are primarily based on needs. I need a coatrack for our lack of entryway. I don’t like the styles or prices I see from mass-produced items, so let me make it. I use a jigsaw to cut most of my work. I prefer to just sketch the piece to make right on the wood and go for it. I don’t work well with math skills on many of these items, other than the correct height and width for a design and execution. For some of my pieces, the result was too tight a fit or too long. Well, let me cut a little more until it does work.
